This year, all S.1 students were given a chance to interview foreigners at Avenue of Stars / Hong Kong Park during the OLE session.
The objectives of the activity are to get students exposed themselves to an English environment and the use of the language.
We also want to build up the confidence of the students in using the language.
Before the interview, teachers helped the students to prepare the interview questions.
After the interview, the students were asked to submit a written report.
After the activity, the students had a sense of achievement and most of the students reported that they gained confidence speaking in English.
