Class 3A –1st Place in English choral speaking competition of the 69th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival.
Looking for an ideal place to have a
picnic? Our 3A class has a piece of advice: Don’t go down to the M25! After
weeks of intensive practice,
class 3A took part in the English choral speaking
competition of the 69th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival. They
performed the poem Picnic Time on the M25, by Paul Cookson. Their
performance greatly impressed the adjudicator, Mr Barry Prince, who praised it
as very polished and well-rehearsed. In fact, it earned them the first place.
3A’s beautifully synchronised voices conveyed the humour of the poem extremely
well. For that, Mr Prince awarded them the highest marks he has ever given to a
choral speaking performance! Getting ready for the competition was certainly no
picnic, but it was all worth it. Congratulations to class 3A!
