2017 Drama Performance “Stone Soup”
What makes an excellent drama performance?
Confidence, teamwork and the ability to memorize dialogues with a
positive attitude, all the while, with perfect timing that makes for an
excellent production!
These qualities and attributes were beautifully presented by our CPC
Drama Team members in the 2016-2017 Science and Arts Carnival on 26th March in the lecture hall. They performed an ensemble drama piece entitled ‘Stone Soup’. Our drama students are
aspiring and talented actors who brought the story of ‘Stone Soup’ to life on our Open Day. A tale that begins in a busy
village with busy villagers where hungry gypsies convince them to share a small
amount of their food, proved to be a story of morals. Our drama team came
together to engage our delighted local audience, and through their exceptional
performance taught us the importance of sharing and unity.
We are proud of our
dedicated Secondary 2 and 3 students who, with enthusiastic professionalism, collaborated
to share their own version of ‘Stone
Soup’. We are looking forward to performing a new show in our school
again next year!
